Друкуюча голова KM-1024 ― має 360 dpi фізичний дозвіл. І максимальну ширину проходу дорівнює 72 мм. Максимальна чистота роботи до 26 kHz.
Одна друкуюча голова KM-1024 по ширині друку перекриває дві друкуючі голови KM-512.
Як і 512-я голова, 1024-я голова реалізується в трьох видах розміру краплі. Але розмір крапель у KM-1024 дещо різняться:
- L (Large) ― 40 пкл.
- M (Medium) ― 14 пкл.
- S (Small) ― 6 пкл.
Також всі ці варіанти друкуючих голів йдуть для УФ-чорнила (з нагрівачем) і для Сольвентних і Масляних чорнил (без нагрівача):
- H (Heater) ― з нагрівачем
- N (No Heater) ― без нагрівача.
Всі друкуючі голови KM-1024 (як і KM512), можуть працювати як в режимі постійного розміру краплі (binary), так і в режимі змінного розміру краплі (монохромний). З можливістю варіацій до 7 крапель.
Друкуюча головка Konica KM 1024 призначена для ширини друку 72 мм, що дозволяє реалізувати високошвидкісний друк. У цій головки кількість сопел в 2 рази вище ніж у KM512, це потрібно для забезпечення високої щільності друку при такому розмірі голови. Це сприяє разширению їх області застосування, наприклад, однопрохідні струминні принтери, що вимагають дуже високої продуктивності.
Дані головки мають інтелектуальну систему вприскування, засновану на змінному розмірі сопла з допомогою п'єзоелемента. Пьеза управляється більш низькою напругою ніж в попередніх моделях голів. У поєднанні з новим економічним приводом це рішення є одним з найбільш екологічних на ринку.
Завдяки новій системі управління дана друкована голова може друкувати до 8 градацій сірого. Що сприяє більш плавного переходу між квітами та більш точному підбору тонів.

The Konica Minolta KM1024 MN print head is a robust, shear mode, piezo on-demand print head that is usable in both binary and level 8 greyscale mode, providing variable drop size and higher print quality without the use of additional print heads. The Konica Minolta KM1024 MN print head is a vast improvement over the KM512 print head series, offering twice the print width and double the level of greyscale. Konica Minolta piezo on-demand inkjet heads are driven using lower voltages than other inkjet heads and the new actuator used in the KM1024 reduces power consumption even further. The Konica Minolta KM1024 MN print head has 1024 nozzles with a droplet size of 14 pico літровий and a native resolution of 360 dpi. The print head is compatible with oil based and solvent inks. This print head is also known as the Konica Minolta KM1024 MNB. This is Konica original print head and it includes the Head ID and the necessary waveform information. It carries a product warranty.

Major improvement in productivity by use of 1024 multi-nozzles and realization of wide print width of 72mm
The unit is equipped with twice the number of nozzles mounted on the KM512 printhead, enabling the high density required to realize the 72mm print width.
This increased width further enhances applicability to printing systems (e.g. Single-pass inkjet printers) that demand high productivity.
Printhead power consumption is reduced by 50% through the use of a new, high efficiency piezo actuator.
Konica Minolta piezo on-demand inkjet heads are already driven using lower voltages than other inkjet heads and the new actuator used in the KM1024 reduces power consumption even further. This makes the printhead ideally suited to green design and shows Konica Minolta's ongoing consideration for the environment.
Increased grey-scale levels produce richer tones and more subtle gradients making the printhead even more attractive to existing and new print applications.
Equipped with a new control IC, the KM1024 printhead can print up to a maximum of 8 drop sizes. This allows even greater control of the printed image resulting in smoother colour gradients and more precisely matched tones.
The ultra-slim, space saving printhead shape improves print quality and allows more compact machine design.
The KM1024 printheads can be mounted very closely together minimising out of alignment errors in the transport or traverse system. This improves print registration resulting in consistently higher quality print. As multiple printheads can be mounted in a smaller space it is often possible to greatly reduce the length of the print path resulting in an overall reduction in machine size.
The KM1024 is suitable for use in a diverse range of industrial printing applications.
The product range includes heads with an integral heater and compatibility with solvent, UV and oil ink types.

Compared to the KM512 Series, the CO2 emissions level during usage of the product has been reduced by approximately 50% thanks to the development of the low-capacitance actuator. In addition, the amount of petroleum-derived resources used has been reduced by approximately 20%.
The product also features a slimmer printhead, lighter weight (approximately 20% less than the KM512 Series) and a footprint approximately 20% smaller.
