Нова головка PROTON від XAAR була анонсована як серія 382.
XAAR 382 призначена для друку сольвентними чорнилом. Подвійна лінія подачі чорнила дозволяє досягти більш високої швидкості друку без втрати насиченості зображення.
У кожній друкуючої голови є своє певне значення в'язкості чорнила, з якими вона працює, яке безпосередньо пов'язане з годує напругою. Тобто більш високої в'язкості чорнил відповідає більш низьку напругу, більш низької в'язкості чорнил відповідає висока напруга. Крім того, в'язкість чорнила буде змінюватися разом із зміною температури навколишнього середовища.
Таким чином, автоматична система температурної компенсації буде змінювати подається напруга виходячи з даних системи моніторингу вбудованої в друкувальну голівку. Дана технологія використовується тільки в головках Xaar PROTON, і патент на неї належить тільки компанії British XAAR Corp.
Розмір краплі нової голови Xaar 382 дозволяє друкувати зображення високої чіткості і дозволу. Низька собівартість чорнила дає можливість установки рентабельною ціни на готову продукцію.
